Tom Roth, 25-year columnist for The Maine Sportsman, New England’s largest outdoor publication, will be at the Umberhine Public Library on Tuesday, September 20th, at 6:30 PM to discuss his book A Sporting Year in Maine. In his book, Tom walks the reader through each month of the year, discussing what the state of Maine has to offer during each period. Practical how-to advice sprinkled with humorous anecdotes will keep both the novice sportsman and the professional entertained. Tom will share stories from his book for about half an hour, then spend about 15 minutes answering audience questions. There will be copies of the book available for purchase at the end of the discussion.
