The Isaac F. Umberhine Public Library is one of over 200 Maine libraries with a shared collection in excess of 60,000 eBooks and eAudiobooks called the Maine InfoNet Download Library that runs on the OCLC CloudLibrary platform. You can use CloudLibrary on the web or download the app, https://www.yourcloudlibrary.com/
Each month, the Umberhine Library purchases 2 to 5 titles to add to Maine’s CloudLibrary. Richmond readers have access to these titles and the many more purchased by the other Maine libraries.
Thank you for taking the time to fill out this survey about the eBooks and eAudiobooks available in CloudLibrary. The information you share will help guide the Umberhine Library with its purchase decisions, https://forms.gle/ov7BT5Ljiv3aq8E29
If you need any assistance with logging in to CloudLibrary, please contact the Library. For in-person assistance, stop by during the week: Tuesday 2-8pm, Wednesday 9am-2pm, Thursday 2-8pm, Saturday 9am-12noon.
Snowy weather has closed the Library three times for February. Perhaps “Murphy” will favor us with no more storms with the introduction of Blizzard Pack Books! Two shelves of the puzzle cart have wrapped books with hints to what you can find inside. Keep one on a shelf to unwrap and enjoy on a day when you can’t make it to the Library!
We have passes for our registered patrons to the Children’s Museum in Portland! The Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine offers visitors interactive exhibits that have been designed to create experiential learning and fun at the same time. They offer a child-centered experience for the entire family. Come in to the library to reserve the pass that is good for up to six visitors. Only one pass is available per day.
Come join the table every 3rd Tuesday of the month to discuss the featured book. It is open to everyone. Come for just one, all, or as many as you’d like.
